Three-Basil Summer Pasta

THREE BASIL SUMMER PASTA INGREDIENTS: 1 pkg linguini noodles (1 lb), cooked al dente 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 4 garlic cloves, peeled and thinly sliced 1 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 1 cup white wine, medium to dry 1/2 cup sweet Italian basil, roughly chopped just before using 1/4 cup Dwarf Basil (a.k.a. Greek or Sicilian - small, delicate leaves, roughly chopped just before using 1/2 cup African Blue Basil (variegated variety, roughly chopped just before using 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil Salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS: Cook pasta according to

directions on package. Always remember to salt the water and cook to al dente. While the pasta is boiling, take a large saute pan and heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and crushed red pepper flakes and cook over medium-low for 3 to 5 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Add the white wine and cook over medium heat until half of the liquid has been reduced. Add the strained linguini noodles to the saute pan and toss together until evenly coated. Roughly chop all the basil and immediately add to the pasta, then add the parmesan cheese and the remaining extra virgin olive oil and toss again. Add salt and pepper to taste, transfer to serving dish and enjoy!
